Stages of spiritual Awakening
We are at a crucial moment— with mass spiritual awakening happening around the world.
This is bringing so much to the surface. Rewriting timelines, changing the normal way of life, more importantly, bringing us deeper into awareness.
This awakening is something that is born out of chaos and into deep reflection. You may be caught in a whirlwind of getting in and out of the awakening which is normal. I want to acknowledge that this process is not linear. We go in spirals every single time- reprocessing what needs to be met and faced or conquered. I am going to lay down the fundamentals of how this process looks like so you can process and perceive that what is happening to you— is a collective disruption of the old patterns of collective consciousness, so together we may move into an alignment of our higher selves—our soul purpose.
If you are reading this post, something has brought you here, maybe an existential question, maybe a soul quest, a disruption to your normal way of living, a thought that has bothered you, or maybe you just know deep down that there is more to who you are and what you can do. And there is
There always is.
The first stage of the spiritual awakening is Ease— Comfort—A period of being unaware-unconscious about the deeper meanings of life. In this stage you are at ease, moving through life through the acceptance of societal norms. A strong sense of materialism governs your life for a while until you move into stage 2.
The second stage is DISCOMFORT-UNEASE— This is when you start feeling there is more to materialism, more to life. You start feeling uneasy where you are whether it is your career, job, relationship or your way of living. You know something is missing in your life yet you don’t know what it is. You want to find out what it is that will guide you closer to something that perhaps might bring you closer to peace.
The third stage is purgation— this is the moment when we find ourselves in deep pain. As we begin to realize everything that we have or we are is not a match to what our soul wants. We are seeking something soulful and everything around us is a reminder that we are not there yet. People often fall into depression during this stage, or experience anger bursts, and emotional fits, as people go through this experience.
The fourth stage is awakening — we finally start to receive the answers we have been looking for in terms of why we have been experiencing the discomfort. We find deeper truths. Our awareness starts to be clearer. Yet, we are still not there yet on how we connect the information that we have learned to our current reality. This sharp contrast— of what we know and where we are in the 3D creates a strong dissonance that moves us into the next stage.
The fifth stage is the D.N.O.T.S (The Dark Night of the Soul)— this is where we experience prolonged periods of dissonance trying to make sense of everything in our life and processing information. We go through a heavy experience of turmoil, grief, and depression. We start asking ourselves deeper soul-based questions about where we are and what changes we like to do. However, the very reality of the sharp contrast of where we are and what we want brings deep sadness. And so we are pushed into the next stage.
The sixth stage which is the Inquiry—- We begin to ask questions on what we can do to get out of the D.N.O. T. S. In this stage we gather every information and start to find light and guidance that there is a way to get out of the stage where we are at and into a path that is more aligned to our soul purpose— our existence.
The seventh stage is —Illumination. We start taking action and find ourselves making one step at a time to things that are closer to our soul. We find that taking one action makes the next one easier and so we start finding ourselves somehow feeling better with the gradual momentum out from a period of stickiness and into a lighter almost weightless feeling— a feeling of deep peace washes over as we find our way slowly out of the darkness and into the light.
The eighth stage is — Strengthening/Failure. Our actions start to bring results and sometimes they strengthen and sometimes they weaken us, the accomplishment of the task alone can bring both or either of emotions. Every failure teaches us something and so does every victory as we find acceptance and courage in the actions we take.
The ninth stage — Divine Union. This is when we begin to find ourselves creating the reality that we want. We feel deeper peace, and guidance from Source.
If you are going through stages 1-8. I hope this information brings you clarity as to what you are going through and how an Activation may help you move on to the next stage or skip some stages. The Activations are a powerful catalyst for change during this spiritual awakening journey and understanding where you are can deeply help with the process of your ascension journey.
A few questions to ask would be— Where am I in my spiritual journey and what am I seeking? How will an Activation/Activations help propel me towards my ascension journey?
It is crucial to journal your experience so that you can feel that you are making progress. We all go through this period of stuckness and into the period of empowerment. Sit with your intuition and allow what needs to come through at every stage of your journey as you journal your growth.
