Dissecting the meaning of movement in life force practices

As a practitioner in kundalini energy activation also known as a bio-field practice that assists with somatics, I am often asked what the meaning of movement is in the sessions. We can start by taking a look at what this neuroscience researcher, Dr Joe Dispenza talks about when he delves deeper into the same question. “It takes an energy greater than the energy that’s been holding the body in the same patterns to liberate us from past experiences and traumas – and our reactions to them. And so, as the body trembles and reacts, it’s trying to free itself from the subconscious conditioning of that familiar past – and the habituated programs of the predictable future.” - Dr Joe Dispenza. Simply put, it’s your body releasing old patterns of thoughts and habits (stored energies) that no longer serve you leaving you with a more clear energetic field that allows you to respond to the world differently. You no longer think or behave the same way thus paving you to create a future that is more aligned.

That’s why we see so many who have invested time and energy in embracing this practice rewriting their present reality. There is no forcing, wishing or wanting. The changes that happen as a result of biofield or kundalini life force practices is the result of clearing.

The Science

So why do the movements happen?

The body has an innate intelligence, we call it the Autonomic Nervous system (ANS). Usually we know how to stay either in the highly alert mode which is regulated by the Sympathetic Nervous System (SNS) or the rest mode which is regulated by the the Parasympathetic Nervous System (PSNS). People mostly stay at either of the states rarely meeting in between unless through sleep.

What happens when the PSNS and SNS meet?

When both the SNS and PSNS are activated together the body goes in deep rest at the same time is aware and conscious, allowing deep reprogramming of habitual thoughts and behaviours. This is when the movements occur - when an individual trusts & surrenders activating the PSNS as well as is aware, in control and has not fallen asleep thus activating the SNS.

This practice although known by our ancient ancestors were “lost”. Some of the most renowned people in history such as Einstein, Newton, Socrates, Napoleon, da Vinci were known to co-activate both the PSNS and SNS to access highly elevated states of consciousness.
